Wrinkle relaxers such as Botox® gently relax the muscles that cause expression lines, softening fine lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes for a smoother, well-rested look that still moves naturally. Dermal fillers generally last 6–18 months depending on the product, the treatment area and your metabolism. Wrinkle relaxers typically last about 3–4 months. We’ll give you a personalized estimate during your consultation.
Downtime is usually minimal. You may notice mild redness, swelling or bruising at injection sites for a few days, especially with lip filler. Most clients return to normal activities right away and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
If approved by your physician, avoid alcohol and blood-thinning supplements or medications (such as aspirin, ibuprofen or fish oil) for 24–48 hours beforehand to help reduce bruising. Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin when possible.
Injectables are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with certain medical conditions, allergies or active skin infections. We review your full medical history before every treatment to make sure it’s safe for you.
